| The Blake Museum was founded in 1926 by Bridgwater Borough Council. From April 2009 it was returned to the control of Bridgwater Town Council, from Sedgemoor District Council, who have run it since 1974.
Volunteers are needed to run the Museum. This could be helping in the reception and shop, and cleaning, to behind the scenes in collection management, publications and website development. If you are interested, please contact Bryan Gillard. |
